Hey guys! I know it\’s been a while since we\’ve last had NBA action to talk about, but that doesn\’t mean the excitement hasn\’t been building up in our hearts for what\’s coming this season.
Last night was one of those nights where you just can\’t help feeling like anything is possible on the court. The Philadelphia 76ers took on the Orlando Magic in their first pre-season game, and boy was it a show!
The game started with both teams trading baskets and keeping each other at bay. It seemed as if neither team wanted to take control early on, which made for an exciting start. But then something happened that caught us all off guard.
As time ticked down towards halftime, Joel Embiid went into his signature post-up move against Nikola Vucevic. With perfect timing, he popped a shot through the hoop from half-court, giving the Philly crowd a much-needed boost before taking a seat on the bench. Talk about霸气!
After halftime, things heated up even more as both teams came out ready to fight. For the Magic, Markelle Fultz put together a solid scoring performance, putting back several shots and showcasing some impressive handles. And don\’t forget about D.J. Augustin who played a crucial role in managing the clock and finding open shooters.
On the other hand, the Sixers found success by switching off between ball handlers and big men, exploiting mismatches wherever they could. Ben Simmons\’ passing ability allowed him to find Victor Oladipo for easy buckets, while Embiid continued to dominate inside.
In the end, it was tied up in overtime, and that\’s when the magic (pun intended) really happened. In one of the most memorable plays of the night, Embid soared up for a tip-dunk, sending the crowd wild.
We\’re only one game in, folks, so there are plenty of surprises still awaiting us. But if tonight was any indication, the upcoming regular season promises to be filled with thrilling moments and unforgettable performances. Let\’s keep watching and cheering on our favorite players until the final buzzer sounds!
